Description:

Induced voltage withstand test is one of the most important dielectric test of power transformers.
The IVW750 test set provides four times of the power frequency power to test transformer insulation performance
between turns of coils, layer to layer.
Model IVW750 series test set suit for the test of up to 132kV/100MVA Transformer.

Standard confirmed to
IEC 60076-3 Power transformers Part 3: Insulation levels, dielectric tests and external clearances in air.

Components
3-phase asynchronous motor, rated frequency, 50Hz, one piece

The motor and generator are positioned on the same one pedestal, and connected with steel couples.

Working Principle:
The soft starter drives the motor to rotate without heavy
start current. The motor drives the synchronous generator
up to rated rotate speed, the exciting current issued by DC
exciter is inputted to the generator rotor coil. Since
generator’s rotor is running, therefore, the generator will
output AC current. Output voltage changes with different
exciting current.
